Agave americana Variegated

The Variegated Century Plant (Agave americana 'Marginata') is a large, striking succulent forming a rosette of stiff, sword-like leaves with silvery-green centers and bright yellow or creamy-white margins, featuring sharp spines and teeth. It grows dramatically, up to 6 feet tall and 8-10 feet wide, but flowers only once in its decades-long life, after which the mother plant dies, leaving pups. This drought-tolerant plant needs full sun, well-drained soil, and plenty of space, making it a bold landscape feature for arid or xeriscape gardens.
