Oregano Hot and Spicy

Hot and Spicy oregano is a perennial herb that is commonly grown for its edible qualities, although it does have ornamental merits as well. The fragrant round grayish-green leaves which emerge chartreuse in the spring are usually harvested from early to late summer. It is a sprawling perennial that typically grows 12-18 inches tall and spreads to 18 inches wide. It is deer and rabbit tolerant. The leaves have a spicy taste. 

Growing Conditions: Hot and Spicy oregano like full sun and dry to medium soil. Once established is drought tolerant.
